Friends,
I'm thrilled to reveal what I've been working on over the past few months. I'm returning to my entrepreneurial roots and starting a consulting firm. I’m calling it, “Interweve.” The firm will provide strategic partnerships consulting services so, I’m hoping the name reinforces our core capability.
I started Interweve for multiple reasons. After many years of working in corporate environments, I found myself uninspired and dispirited by what I continually witnessed in the workplace. While the majority of my experiences were positive and I met some incredibly talented people along the way whom I now call friends, I also witnessed bad behavior in multiple forms, an enduring gender wage gap, and a general lack of strategy that resulted in a lot of wasted effort and time.
Overall, I'm grateful for the opportunity to work and learn at my former workplaces but I could feel a growing desire to return to my founder roots and to build something new.
Another reason I started Interweve is, I see a massive market opportunity at the intersection of partnerships + technology. AI, consolidation, and GTM strategies that include built-in distribution capabilities have coalesced and put partnerships at the epicenter for growth.
Additionally, consulting needs a refresh. I've had the opportunity to work with some of the best consultants in the field. These people are smart, hardworking, and, unfortunately, encumbered by bureaucracy. They're limited by red tape, internal politics, and project cost estimates and timelines that are unrealistic at best and at worst, unhinged.
I’m hoping that Interweve can change this and I’m also hoping to have some fun along the way. Have a question or some feedback? I would love to hear from you! lindsey@interweve.com
